‘Incense’ is the debut single from 21 year old Zach Thorpe. A Michigan born, LA based singer, composer, woodwind player and electronic producer and recent graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.

His pieces are produced through a method that is mainly experimental, combining this structured sensibility with the aesthetics of electroacoustic composition and found sound.

‘Incense’ is a rich tapestry of delicate flutes, dream-like melodies, clever use of found-sounds & field recordings, rich, cutting edge electronic production and bass work.

Released through London-based label, Bit-Phalanx Music, ‘Incense’ will be available as a free 8-track download with an eclectic set of exclusive remixes by the likes of ARP DB, Ivan Cheng and Bit-Phalanx veterans Derek Piotr, Earth Is Flat, Same Actor, Niggle and Alexander Dai (of the band, Sayaconcept).

‘Incense’ is taken from the forthcoming full EP, ‘Compass’
out winter 2015. Full debut album to follow in 2016.
